Besides Gears 2, definitely it's Dead Space for me.
That's a great theme especially for a horror shoot-em up, it'll just build-up the scare factor even further.
Looking forward to this game.
Yes I'ved heard this news way back before and am anticipating an XBox 360 release by SimBin whether it be a GTR2 type version or WTCC one.
Hopefully it'll be the best of both.
Also to SimBin - if you can read this article please include the most beautifully designed LeMans concept Mazda Furai ( which actually is only going to remain a concept and will never be raced in the series ).
Will be good to see this concept racer be used in the virtual world.
...
Believe that another over-hyped press release lie. Clearly biased by some disgruntled gamer.
As of present times it's definitely the XBox 360 that is the best control pad set-up on any games "genres" out there.
And I do believe the Nintendo's are even better than Sony's much-hyped SixAxis/DualShock 3.
Definitely the "most emotionally affecting" bit was a tad too much to promote or is it more looking like they were begging/would suck up to anything/blow down their enormous egos just to make a movie deal with New Line Cinemas?
Though the first Gears and this up-coming installment does'nt have any problems because it did/will deliver the hype and has a totally awesome game playability plus it does speak for itself, but I don't know about the guys behind them who are really...
Have also seen the awesome new video, just want to ask if anyone out here knows about any news with the limited edition box set?, besides the making of Gears 2, what are the "other" most likely features to be included? Anyone? Thanks.
That really is a great video footage, very awe-inspiring, all the new weapons, moves, maps, multi-player tactics and improved set-ups just everything screams quality gameplay.
Gears 2 has just set the benchmark all over again.
Very neat and handy idea.
Sony should'ved had realized this from the very time they redesigned the PS3 Sixaxis/DualShock 3 pad... is it such a small matter that they have overlooked this very simple but glaring flaw?
Now we have to spend more money just to fix this minute imperfection.
If only the PS3 controller were designed like the ergonomically hand-friendly XBox360...
It's not really the limiting of CGI but how to use it wisely in the film - like where you could'nt distinguish if it was even used at all makes it more convincing whether it be in make-up prosthetics, figure/clay models, background etc... Yep and definitely bring back those nurses.
Basically make it really scary-creepy as hell as it should be.
Also to Common Sense - what a pathetic bitter and jealous knob you really are.
This game is the best, wish it was release date already...
Money spent on over-hyping such titles whether it sells or bombs-out will definitely sell better and make more money for the developers than not doing any at all, and does'nt matter what you see and read over the net/print media or for that matter any fanboy/girls comments.
What matters most - is the money made $$$.
Since when did Marcus Fenix and the coalition leave the Jacinto Plateau or planet Earth for that matter?...
...don't think so, which is why it's still the same place ( updated graphically ) and a few new ones.
If you love to customize and enjoy doing it, go ahead... but leave the full version GranTurismo 5's objective - and that's full-sim driving with the option of tuning the engine, suspension and tires at your hearts desire.
In the end I believe it's still GranTurismo 5 who will eat the last piece of the cake and have a bit of laugh while doing it.
Well the in-game footage shown way back has already proven it's point about the much improved and awesome graphic detail the game Gear2 has to offer.
With these screenshots, the problem is they could have at least enlarged it, but just to name two changes that can be clearly seen are - (1) sun-baked look (2) background has more depth to it
What's the reason behind why Sarah Miichelle Gellar is'nt going to be on the film anymore?
Playing the part of Alice would have been a great comeback movie for her especially that Tim Burton's going to direct it...
I must say Sony does make most of the best control pads ( remote ones ) out there but their DualShock3 which is a carry-over design from the very first PS1 console should have had evolved into something better.
This is were the saying that "if it ain't broke don't fix it" clearly does'nt work at all.
Sony really needs to totally overhaul their "unergonomically" designed pads on their next-gen console ( PS4) - hopefully...
At least the triggers ( L1, L2 ) are well designed.
I doubt that the graphics would improve from this trailer ( the water down the basement does'nt even look like water or sludge, also some quite unconvincing moves/attacks ).
Really hoping that it does improve ( fingers crossed ) but sure am pessimistic after seeing this in-game video.
